Rest in peace?

Hugh Hefner founder of Playboy recently passed away. I read where he paid $75,000 years ago for the vault next to Marilyn Monroe so that he could “spend eternity with Playboy’s first cover girl.” There is a misconception in our world today and with many Christians about what happens when we die. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:27 “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.” Once we take our last breath we go to one of two places, heaven or hell. How do we make sure we will go to heaven, by repenting of our sins and turning our life over to Jesus Christ? 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” People make arrangements for what to do with their body once they die. In all honesty, the physical part of our body really doesn’t matter--it’s what we do with the spiritual part, our soul. Hopefully, you have made the necessary preparations before you die and you are ready to meet the Lord.
