Why we don't spin our wheels about when the Lord is returning

A few months ago, there was something shared in the Christian community that on September 23, 2017 the Lord was coming back. I was asked what I thought and I responded with Scripture. Mark 13:32 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come." (NIV) Since we do not know the day or hour there is no reason to get caught up in date setting. All I know is I should live my life in a way that is pleasing to God and be ready for His return, for it could be any day.
